Finally we'd had enough and asked Overhead door to come out and look at it. A new door wouldn't match the other garage doors on the house due to 16 years of the sun fading, but it was the only option and we were going to go with it. THEN, the guy who came out to look at the door called the next day and said, "This never happens, but I'm taking a garage door out of another house right now and it's the exact color, type, and dimensions you need for your house...and I think the sun fading will be a perfect match!" So he loaded it up, and came to our house the next morning to install it with a new opener, etc. It saved us hundreds of dollars and solved our color match problem AND it was installed the next day! Sure, they could have sold a new garage door, but this one was a better fit for our family and they now have a customer and raving fan for life. Called Overhead Door the same morning and receptionist had a technician call back a couple hours later to schedule a time. Matt was our technician who was able to meet us at home during lunch and replace the spring.
